The A60 is a 12-inch, 60 watt, Classic Alnico driver. While its stunningly simple 'old school' visual statement will elicit an instant smile, you will find yourself unprepared for the sonic impact about to be experienced. The keyword here is balance. Every note and harmonic will immediately sound like it has been perfectly expressed.

Providing a refined tonal 'flavour' of the Ascension F70, the A60's detailed, shimmering top-end is never pointed and harsh. It's clear distinct low end coupled with the characteristic Fane vocal mid-range will present the player with an entirely renewed appreciation of harmonic structure. Designed specifically to reveal all of the subtle nuances of a finely crafted tube amplifier, the A60 is tailor made for players looking to explore new sonic territory while enhancing an amplifiers signature voice.

Fane Ascension A60 e Fane Ascension F70

Fane Ascension A60 e Fane Ascension F70 ... for some time I told myself that I absolutely had to try the new Fane Ascension speakers. But then out of laziness or new priorities, every time I ended up postponing the purpose. This time more motivated and eager to add a new spice to my set-up, I thought I'd do the right thing by buying a Fane Ascension A60 and a Fane Ascension F70. When I got delivered I could not not appreciate the meticulous care of the packaging ... just open the boxes to understand that inside there are no speakers ... all very British in line with the blazon of the brand FANE, beautiful and romantic! Time to put together in a 2x12 cabinet (in Dumble style) the two speakers and ... .wow wow wow ... I was amazed The sound of my guitars gushes relaxed - the medium range is very well defined and detailed in every step - the bass is narrow and round and the highs are all there without ever being jarring. I swear, I've never heard my amp growl with such satisfaction. I have several speakers and I have many but ... hell, I had never heard so well all my amps with the same speakers. At the end of the tests I ended up arranging the Fane Ascension F70 in the 2x12 cabinet together with an old Fane Medusa (which I already had at home) and in a OS Wave 1x12 Port City cabinet the Ascension A60. I will use the Fane singly or combined with each other or with speakers of other brands that I do not want to give up anyway, and I will do it for the simple taste of playing or to record mainly Pop Rock and Blues music. ... But now that I have finally closed the tests of my new Fane speakers, I have only one question left in my head: why did not I buy them first?

Had one of these for a couple of months and it's great - very balanced, sweet clean and pleasingly musical break up. It's loud, and has the right amount of compression for me when used with a 30 watt amp run hard. Top end was a little tricky to dial in when new, but with 20 odd loud hours it's breaking in nicely, sounds relaxed and natural now. Worth the money
Great Speakers

I bought both an F70 and A60 directly from Fane about 2 months ago for use in a 2x12 cabinet with a 50 watt Hiwatt. The speakers sound fantastic both clean and overdriven and have done a great job of taming the top end ‘Harshness’ that I’ve experienced with other speakers when plugged into the aforementioned Hiwatt amp. The speakers were well packaged and there are no obvious issues with build quality. On a side note, there were issues with my order but Fane’s customer service was excellent and they solved the issue first thing the next working day. These speakers continue to impress me and I’d thoroughly recommend both the F70 and A60. 5/5 Stars.
