The 12-inch, 70 watt, ceramic magnet Ascension F70 represents the evolution of a classic tone guitar speaker for players looking for a fresh point of reference.

Promising to be the new most talked about speaker in a generation with its unique ability to enhance the performance of clean low gain amplifiers and high gain shred machines alike. It is just as at home in a classic rear mounted 4x 12 as it is in a modern front mounted application. The F70 offers a stunningly detailed top-end, rich mid-range and warm low-end with an intricate three-dimensional vintage crunch. The beauty of the F70 is that you need not even change your amplifiers setting to appreciate its ability to articulate delicate passages or manage pummeling abuse with ease. Whether your application is a head and cab or an open back combo, the F70 most definitely adds a welcome new dimension to existing rigs.

Best ceramic speaker ever made

I've tried different speakers through my life and the F70 is the right one for me. It gives a 3D quality in the tone, everything in its right plane (at least for me). Is the sound I've been chasing for years. Thanks, Fane!
I love this thing!

I have vintage amps, but use a 1x12 modelling amp more often than not because it's small, light and gives me a variety of tones and makes a good platform for pedals. Plus, I'm not using something that is essentially irreplaceable (early Gibson amps with field coil speakers). The original (by another well respected UK brand) speaker was kind of 'alright' but, I thought I could improve, and ended up spending more on trying out speakers than the amp cost. What can I say. The F70 was good to start with, but now, after some playing-in, it's absolutely awesome. Even better than I hoped. I have vintage Fanes and 'another UK brand' in a vintage 4x12, and, the F70 has that smoothness; bright and clear without that death-ray high frequency zit.

Congratulations on your FANE F70 Speaker.
Today I loaded the F70 in my Cabs. Before, I played through Celestion G12M-65 Creamback Speakers.
I bought a pair of new cabs with the Celestions inside. I was unhappy with the Creambacks. They are a good Speaker in one way - but not in my idea of a Strat-Sound. These Speakers were too closed for my taste.
My Strat has very good Pickups, Made by Andreas Kloppmann in Germany who is a friend of mine. These Pickups are bringing the good old Strat Sound back. This very good Strat was sounding so decorous, decent – but boring in one way with the Creambacks - for my taste.
With your F70 my Strat is now a naughty boy again, I can hear the Strings, and I have the never ending fine silky Trebles. When I am playing only with my HIWATT and your F70 Speaker, I hear at the same time parallel the Clean Tube Sound, a bit Compression Sound, a bit Crunch Sound, and a little bit of HIGH Gain Sound.
It is a wonder how your F70 Speaker can produce that. The sound is now a bit throaty again - Yeah! Attack, Twang, bell-like.....Everything in the Sound I like. Many thanks for this great Sound. I bought the Speakers through TUBE AMP DOCTOR in Worms in Germany.
Dear FANE-Team - Please take care. We Guitarists need you - also in the Future. Let’s Rock. And FREE THE TONE, as Pete Cornish says. And please maintain your high Quality and your idea of a very good sound. Your Maik Jantzen from Germany
Great Speakers

I bought both an F70 and A60 directly from Fane about 2 months ago for use in a 2x12 cabinet with a 50 watt Hiwatt. The speakers sound fantastic both clean and overdriven and have done a great job of taming the top end ‘Harshness’ that I’ve experienced with other speakers when plugged into the aforementioned Hiwatt amp. The speakers were well packaged and there are no obvious issues with build quality. On a side note, there were issues with my order but Fane’s customer service was excellent and they solved the issue first thing the next working day. These speakers continue to impress me and I’d thoroughly recommend both the F70 and A60. 5/5 Stars.
